Colonial Knob

Harry started the week with a bit of an alarming day.  Firstly, he forgot to reset the alarm and so woke up a tad bit early.  He got to work early, and didn't know how to turn the alarm off and set the bells ringing.  Then the builder rang up to ask what the alarm code was because we had forgotten he was coming - oops.  We did a 3.5 hour walk up Colonial Knob - steeper than Mt Kau Kau and wonderful views from the top (hope the cows enjoyed it as much as we did).  We'll be going up there again!!

Mt Kau Kau

I did it - I climbed Mt Kau Kau.  My goal was that by the end of July I would do it.  4 months and 1 day after my operation I did it - Henry Higgins said the same thing in My Fair Lady!!  Had some great moral support Carolyn and Nick (recently came over here from Wales) and Fleur.  We met Judy and friend at the top - they are training for the 100 km walk as a fund raiser - a bit out of my league, but very impressive.

Then the following week seemed a bit hectic. Had a Prince 2 exam  We sent out invites to our wedding (yes Harry and I are getting married).  On Friday dressed up as lollipop sellers and went to an enjoyable circus evening with Harry's workmates.  Saturday we bought material for my dress, went to Nicki's birthday party in the evening.
