- we had a fantastic day thanks to everyone.
- it was great to see everyone come in fancy dress - so many ideas - I kept asking 'who are you' which is rather a weird thing to say to people we have known for years.
- the weather was windy and wet, a bit sad as the lamb and calf day was also on and there were lots of little kids battling the weather to walk their animals and enjoy the show. From our perspective, the weather meant we were all inside - just the right number for the venue - and we were all mingling just like you do before the show starts - so it wasn't such a bad thing afterall.
- the inside photos are great thanks to Susan and we managed to get a few outside when the weather cleared.
- the staff at Duck Creek made it really worthwhile - I realised in the first few minutes that this would be enjoyable - I didn't have to wander around offering food and drink - I could stand and talk to people for as long as I liked - someone else was looking after us.
- the food was great - but I ate too much!!
- a friend described it as the 'best wedding they have ever been to' which was just the right compliment for us ...
- and Wayne was a great MC

Wedding day
We woke to rain and a southerly - and an early start as Becks, Sharon and I were getting our make up and hair done. Everything went reasonably smoothly, and we arrived at Duck Creek on time, ready to have a coffee, organise a few things and welcome everyone as they arrived. How to describe our big day...
